News from the Farm
Autumn is always a favourite here at Rosegate, cooler temperatures and livestock still out allows us to focus on making final preparations for winter. It is also time for a few more calves to be born and the rams to go in with the ewes!
Due to the dry weather throughout the end of August and September we have been moving the animals around to find a fresh bite, a particular favourite is the Lucerne which we have been able to put our lambs on:

Rosegate Christmas Order form 2019
Christmas order books are now open. Our local free-range bronze turkeys are doing well – limited number so please order as soon as you can. Accompanied, of course, by our own free-range, dry cured gammons, Hereford beef, homemade sausages/chipolatas etc
Black Pudding has arrived! We are very excited to now be stocking fresh blood black pudding from the “fruit pig company” who harvest at the abattoir we use.
Venison should be returning by the end of October, for more precise dates watch this space or sign up to our email.
As always our own lamb, pork and beef will be available every weekend for the perfect roast or hearty, warming stew!
